Introducing our next study, WISDOM 1.1

We are delighted to tell you about our next study, WISDOM 1.1. Following on from the WISDOM study, we have been awarded more funding to carry out further development work on our WISDOM artificial intelligence (AI) model. The funding is from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the work is to improve the ability of the AI model to correctly detect images of patients’ wounds that have an infection, especially among patients with darker skin tones. WISDOM 1.1 is a short study, carried out by the same research team and should finish in March 2026.
